A sought-after leader in her field, Betsy is a long-standing member of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA) and the American Marketing Association (AMA) and has been a featured speaker and group leader at several of QRCA’s national events. She has also been a presenter at the Marketing Research Association’s 50th anniversary celebration.
Prior to founding Bernstein Research Group in 1982, Betsy spent eight years in Account Management positions at Benton & Bowles (now Publicis) in New York City, managing traditional packaged-goods accounts. She left B&B as a Vice President, with the conviction that qualitative research could benefit greatly from an understanding of marketing and business principles. This differentiating factor proved to be well founded.
Betsy earned her MBA at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Psychology from Goucher College. She is an active volunteer in her community in Harrison, NY and delights in discovering all things new.
