Untitled-1Betsy Bernstein has conducted over 6,000 sessions on hundreds of subjects. From credit cards to new cars, technology to travel, baby care to retirement housing, new product development to competitive insights … she’s done it all. Betsy has a unique ability to create a comfortable, engaging environment that is both involving for research participants and productive for clients, whether the target is business owners, high net worth individuals, healthcare professionals, or families with children.

A sought-after leader in her field, Betsy is a long-standing member of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA) and the American Marketing Association (AMA) and has been a featured speaker and group leader at several of QRCA’s national events. She has also been a presenter at the Marketing Research Association’s 50th anniversary celebration.

Prior to founding Bernstein Research Group in 1982, Betsy spent eight years in Account Management positions at Benton & Bowles (now Publicis) in New York City, managing traditional packaged-goods accounts. She left B&B as a Vice President, with the conviction that qualitative research could benefit greatly from an understanding of marketing and business principles. This differentiating factor  proved to be well founded.

Betsy earned her MBA at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Psychology from Goucher College. She is an active volunteer in her community in Harrison, NY and delights in discovering all things new.
